It didn't look like a great team on paper but ended up being our most disciplined performance of the season. Kudos to the team and management. Buchanan has been a weak link for me this season but that was his best game for Queens by a mile. Nortey had his best game in a Queens shirt. Ayo coasted through in midfield. Jones and Mebude caused Hearts problems with their pace and it was great to see young Dapo rattling Halkett and Popescu . I look forward to see what he can do when we have more possession.
We did miss McKee's and McCabe's passing intent but the guys did give us a stronger spine.
Hearts may not of been able to pass it on that pitch but Jones managed fine on his first game on it. Maxwell has impressed this season with his glides forward but bested everyone Hearts put up against him but like others I thought Willie Gibson was the best player on the pitch.
It was a good team performance but it only gained us a point. We will need the same and more against Inverness.

Aye most impressed how solid we looked against a team who had ripped is to shreads earlier in the season. Improvement indeed.
Here's hoping for something similar on Wednesday night.

Great performance from the boys on Friday night and even better when you factor in the missing faces. Some real exiting talent on offer and hopefully we can use this as a springboard for the rest of the season as AJ continues to put his stamp on things.
