None of the others train very much so it won't make any difference

So at best he'll have 9 games to go in the league when he's fit/whatever the issue is?

    Always appreciate your input mainstandmoan.

Who do you think will last longer, Kamberi or McInnes?

According to DM on the pre match interview, he’s still trying to sort out his work permit!
Hornby hasn’t trained all week coz of a bug. Leigh out for season with Hedges.

This season just keeps getting better.

That's just a 50-50 punt. Both until the summer is the best guess.

The facts are simple. Derek has a contract until May 2022. Thereafter automatically onto a rolling 12 month contract. So come the summer, whenever we get rid, its going to cost the club £800K to get rid of him, and half that again for all his backroom team. Its all about cost saving meantime, that's why he is still there, to save 4/5 months of a pay off.

The stay of execution issued this week is purely a PR exercise to try and muster some support and pull everyone together. The only way he goes before the summer if it becomes apparent that the wheels have come off completely, and European spots are fading away.

Derek is a master of excuses with the board, this weeks excuse already issued with Hornby having a bug, and Kamberi still not having a work permit, and having the best part of a stone to shift. His control of certain board members is causing serious issues in the dressing room and in the building.

Oh dear. That all sounds very depressing.

I suppose it doesn’t really matter if we are getting rid of him in the summer then as at minimum it will be a 12 month contract we will need to pay up. Certain members of the board need to have a good look at themselves if McInnes thinks he can have control over them. I suppose some are there just to make up board numbers and think of the prestige of being a board member. It’s the board who decide what is acceptable to the club on a football front...McInnes is only steering the club the way he sees fit. Currently the way he steers is losing a lot of fans interest. There is not one Aberdeen fan that I know that is happy with him...they all want him out.

Cheers for the insider insight, always interesting to hear. Confirms a lot of what most of us on here suspected. Sounds like he’s managed to negotiate the greatest contract of all time for himself - pity he’s not so savvy in the transfer market.

MSM - any info on names being banded about internally regarding a replacement when he does go?

    Thanks for the info.

Unfortunately just confirms what some of us have thought all along.
