It’s not a very good time to play the Owls, as for the first time this season they’ve hit a bit of form under caretaker-manager Neil Thompson, winning their last five home games, the latest a 2-0 win over Wycombe on Tues night which took them out of the bottom three.
The reverse fixture last November was a tight affair and a 1-1 draw with Tony Pulis in charge. We can’t afford to slip up in these types of matches against bottom half sides with Norwich and Brentford pushing strong above us, but I’m sure Cooper is aware that this match is a potential banana skin. Having said that aren’t they all in this most competitive of leagues.
