    Crawley Town match off

Why don't the 'owners' and the executives just fuck off now and leave the club to be run by people who are merely incompetent rather than absolutely fucking useless.

There is nothing to stop this match being rescheduled for Sunday. According to the met office web site the weather conditions for Sunday are a lot better than between now and tomorrow afternoon.

According to NC this option was tried, but failed because of a lack of cooperation between the various Clubs that would have been affected. He told me: “ I can confirm since Wednesday we have been trying very hardy to move fixtures but sadly our request was not agreed to.

A fixture change alters recover time and then impacts on other fixtures and has ripple effects. Those managers and teams affected all have to agree.

I raised the matter of better cooperation between clubs with the EFL yesterday at the L2 meeting and asked all clubs and managers to be more open minded and cooperative together with moving fixtures.

The EFL wrote to all L2 clubs yesterday evening saying the same.

It is an unprecedented time and it’s in everyone’s interest to be flexible.”

Thanks to Nigel for clearing this up. Other questions about covers and the pipes under the pitch remain just that, questions.

I have reason to believe that the club tried numerous options to make the pitch playable for Saturday and also to play the match on Sunday. But all such efforts alas failed.

If we keep up this situation of not playing we could get into the relegation zone.
