    Maybe there should be a separate competition .... guess the date on which McInnes mentions the wine comps in his post match comments as the reason for another sh!t result

    Oh ... and as an aside, Ah'm right noo enjoyin a glass o' creeping thistle wine. Made from flower heads of creeping thistle ( which have a scent similar to honey) gathered fae Tullos Hill, and sultanas.
    It's very pleasant, but unusual and difficult tae describe .... the honeyish (as opposed tae hunnish) aroma has fairly come through alongside a sherryish character .... although the wine is very dry and light bodied.
    As an experiment, definitely a success ... a balance of being unique whilst strangely familiar .... Ah'm nae sure how many folk have ever made creeping thistle wine. Ah might be the first ... Ah've certainly never come across a recipe or a mention before
