Some of the best players are the ones you have heard but didn't know the names.
The like from Muscle Shoals and the Wrecking crew.
The bass player on the Beech boy hits was a lady by the name of Carol Kaye

Carol Kaye was top class, a very gifted musician and I think that her bass playing is exceptional.
Just for a little entertainment for you, amusement if you like, a couple of songs that I was part of in a performance at The Stables in 2019. I’m the one in the middle, behind the singer!

I bought an acoustic guitar (brand is called Vintage) in December and am learning to play using the Justinguitar app - I love it and play a few tunes most days.
Back on topic - Miles Hunt of The Wonder Stuff is great with his acoustic stuff and more recently Gerry Cinnamon.
Hi, Justin guitar on You Tube was one of the channels that helped me get started.
Once you get the hang of it , you get hooked. A lot give up after a couple of weeks, once your muscle memory kicks in it gets easier.
If you have played a few years and try to play left handed or vice a versa you release what it was like for a beginner.
Here’s one some of you will enjoy.........!

Eric Clapton for me.
I have a Washburn acoustic and a Fender Stratocaster (it belongs to a family member who previously lent me his Telecaster.
Sadly they are both on the loft and not strummed for a few years owing to arthritis in hands effecting the ability to hold the strings to the fret. Also very painful.
There is a Roland keyboard in the loft which I messed around with years ago. I keep threatening to bring it down !
