Yes or no if offered.
Personally I think we have nothing to lose,if he gets fit he may just nick a couple of goals and keep us up,some of the teams below us have started to pick up points.

Is he available?
If so and he could be ready to go within a couple of weeks then definitely yes. As a long or even medium term signing, definitely not but, as you say, he may get a couple of goals and, given that this is all going to come down to fine margins, then anything that helps tip the balance in our favour is a good thing.
Quality-wise, he'd be a massive upgrade on any of Carroll, Gayle or, well, I'm not even going to mention the other fella as saying Sturridge would be an upgrade on him would be as unnecesary as saying that a plate of steak and chips would be an upgrade on a bowl of shite.
Without Wilson to call upon he's head and shoulders above what we have (apart from a consistently on form and fully fit Carroll) therefore to my mind it's a no-brainer.
P.S. We are never ever going to get a fully fit and consistently on form Carroll.

Nope, we're not.
The last time Carroll was fit and on form was when he was with us ten years ago-he scored 11 goals in the half season before he left. Since then, form and fitness have been conspicuous by their absence and, in that decade, his goals per season record reads thusly: 2, 4, 0, 7, 2, 5, 9, 7, 3, 0, 0, 0, 1
Any normal manager looking to solve a goal-scoring crisis would look at that record and immediately look elsewhere.
But no, Steve Bruce knew better.
He's a nice guy, you know.
the 25 man squad is set in place as far as I understand. Don`t think we can drop one out and put one in.
Good point.
Discussion over.
Or keep you up.
Although moot point now, I agree if offered I'd take him - especially for the latter bit of season.
