Still interested if we get relegated but will re negotiate price according to some reports.

Is this just guesswork or is it genuine information.?

Came from George Caulkin on a podcast. He is the journalist closest to Staveley.

Reducing the price if we go down Ashley wont be happy about that so surely thats the biggest reason for him to sack Bungle now and let Jones take over till the end of season and hopefully the new owners come in and Ashley gets his 300+M

i think Ashley has dug himself a hole, he has shown his cards to the Saudi's.

He wants to deal with them in the future, whatever has been disclosed between the two sides, there is a carrott dangling that Ashley wants.

If he plays hardball over a new price if we go down, then he risks losing any future dealings that he could have

If true then maybe this is them trying to get him to shift the manager they can see who is taking us down.

They, I suspect have actual football people involved who are telling them the trouble we are in.

However, surely they'd rather pay the cheaper price which would be if we went down. However, again, maybe the money isn't really an issue for them (as has seemed before) and they'd rather we're in the prem, even if it means paying more.

If this is true of course.

If this is true then all concerned will want us to stay in the PL. You can be backed by a billion pounds and still not be guaranteed promotion from the fizzy at the first attempt, New manager, new players (even if you get the ones you want) take time to bed in.

TBH though if you told me the PIF would take over our club now but we had to go into the third division with the mackems then IŽd take it.
