Free hit for us though more so with other results going our way, we will need to work hard but let's have a bit of a go at the same time, same team as last week but with Harkes for Pawlett is what I think we all want to see, we will all accept a defeat if we give it a go
Agree with all that. This will be a very tough examination of how far we've progressed.

They are a very good side, no doubt about it, but we do have players that can hurt them the longer we stay in the game. The longer we can keep it 0-0 the more they will press and leave spaces behind them.

I hope MM has warned against giving them unnecessary free kicks 25-35 yards out.

    C'mon United

So close to the team we wanted, but he goes abs messes it up by dropping Sporle and bringing in Clark

I don't get the thinking behind that at all, Sporle has more legs than Clark for getting round the park and closing down, baffling

    So I guess it's a 4-3-1-2 with Clark behind Appere /Shankland

Less width than we could have had

Harkes was always coming in for Pawlett but Clark for Sporle is truly baffling. Clark going off at HT at Motherwell (as well as Pawlett coming in) has been pivotal in our immediate improvement from that exact point.

As you say, baffling. Games in midfield have a habit of passing by Clark. And as Shedka says we're sacrificing width. Plus Adeian give Jamie Robson cover and confidence.

Before the teams were announced my head said 2-0 heart 1-1. This could turn out very badly. Hopefully Micky knows something we don't.

Given we're gonna be on the back foot most of the game, playing three strikers is a strange one at the best of times but to do it just when we've started looking good is absolutely baffling. So f*cking harsh on Sporle. If it is 4-3-2-1, Ryan Kent is gonna have an absolute field day.
