I don’t care if Rooney is benefiting from McClaren’s advice or from years of learning under Ferguson. Fact is, he’s like a breath of fresh air imo.
I’ll admit to being a bit surprised, but after years of platitudes, muddled thought and lack of a ‘plan B’, I wholeheartedly welcome the straight talking and the willingness to change. Long may it continue.
