What's going on? I thought that it was illegal to travel abroad. Our next door neighbour's son has just gone on holiday to the Caribbean. No checks at the airport except the normal ones, no police, nothing different. Therefore, I assume that checks are only being made when coming into the country but as I say, I thought it was illegal.
