Probably down to the effect of more getting the flu jab, more preventative measures being taken (masks, hand washing, distancing etc.) and unfortunately COVID claiming the lives of the vulnerable, the flu statistics for the entire USA this winter so far are astonishing.

Flu has a very similar infection route to covid so the masks and lockdown etc will drive down flu inspections

Flu/Covid, are the Covid figures we hear and see about actually true? Or have they been classed as Covid as a scare exercise to attempt to battle this truly awful life threatening germ? Either way, it has made us be more aware to wash and clean more often than before.
I wonder what the winter Flu death figures will finally be? These have always been made available at some point but, I don't think we'll see such a high rate as previous years has shown now that Covid is on the scene.
