    Record-breaking Meslier

I know that the defence isn't just one man, but this is pretty impressive (given how many gaols we have shipped so far!).

Illan Meslier has become the first Premier League keeper under 21 to record eight clean sheets in a season.

Posted on the official Leeds Twitter account (don't use it, don't know how, so just copied and pasted!)

Congratulation to the lad, hasn't been at all easy this season.

He did some good stops last night. He took quite a few kicks in the Newcastle game and I thought he might go off or miss a game but he was back so hopefully made of tough stuff. A couple more years experience and we will be fighting to keep hold of him.

He seems to have a fair bit of steel too which is great for one so young. He could be a top level keeper for a good 15 years.

Meslier, Rapha, Phillips, Koch, Struijk - 5 youngish players to base the next 5 to 6 years around

Nice record, just needs to improve on his dribbling a bit.😎

Yeah not a good look when he dribbles his pint down his chin - few more weeks to practice before the pubs properly reopen though 🤣
