    According to the Daily Mail......

Hugo Lloris leaving in summer and Spurs want Nick Pope to replace him. They're talking around £30 million.

Pope is the best goalie in the Prem and that includes Liverpool's (misspend on) Allison so Pope is worth 60 million.

At 28 years old and already capped by England and on a long contract 30 million sounds like one of those stupid low offers we are forever making for players. Alisson was 67 million and the misfit Kepa around about 70 million.

Alisson is a good goalie but his skill has been exaggerated because he's always played in good teams. Since Van Dijk's injury he has been more exposed and his frailties have been exposed, he's not in pope's class.

We can have all the opinions we want on how much we think Pope is worth, but if Spurs come in with a £30 million bid for Pope, I reckon we'll snatch their hand off. He'll be gone.

Without looking it up I read somewhere a young goalkeeper from Benfica who is actually a US citizen, might be on his way to Turf Moor for not a lot of Wonga.

    2 + 2 usually makes 4.

Manchester United wanting 40 million for Dean Henderson according to the Express. I just think 30 million is a “low price” for Nick Pope. Pope is possibly the keeper who can make Spurs contenders for a Champions League spot instead of nearly men. Top keepers need to go for top dollar imho.

Personally outwood, I would set the auction bar at 50 million quid and go from there.

Personally a goalkeeper in goals ,with us. Having such a 'wonky' defence before him. Pope's value must be 90 million. 50 million is chicken feed!
