    No one has mentioned Tingha and Tucker? In truth there wasn't a great deal on TV when I was a kid, never mind actual 'kids TV'. About and hour a day if I remember correctly.

    Some great choices listed on this thread guys and there isn't one I didn't enjoy at some point during my childhood, Champion the Wonder Horse was always a stand out favourite as was Zorro.

    Always have memories of being off school and sat waiting for kids tv to start about 10.30am with the test screen on the telly of the girl with the doll clown, then on came Magic Roundabout, Playschool and then Play away. weekends were always about Tiswas and The Banana splits with those odd kids on that London bus??

    The London bus thing was Here Come The Double Deckers! Peter Firth played Scooper and 40 years later played (Sir) Harry Pearce in Spooks.

    When I were a lad I remember there being sod all on till 5 o'clock and then it was Children's Hour.
