    It's all in the language.

Why have BBC Scotland started referring to the PM as "prime minister of England".....there's no such office.

Keep calm. If Salmond gets things right there might be two independence parties. SNP brand fatally tarnished, see Jim Sellers commentary in Daily Mail, so maybe a fundamental revival party will split the independence vote. Not in time for the May election but if as appears to be the case the SNP voters are beginning to understand that the SNP care about independence and are not a party for good governance, we might find a return of labour voters and Tartan Tories who voted SNP to defeat Labour might give the Tories a vote. As long as the only people who vote SNP are those who actually want independence things might not be too bad.

I don't think we should rush for independence this year. There will be other views no doubt.

I want independence but refuse to vote SNP ever again. I don't want to be involved in politics beyond voting and bleating on forums so I'm hoping an alternative party that supports independence but not at the cost of everything else comes along soon.

Can't see any of them getting my vote in May or whenever the next one is.

Thanks for that, never laughed so much since I read about rros's experience as a covid-denier going for a vaccine for a hoax virus

My point of view is that Scots should wait and see how Brexit works out for Britain before deciding that independence would be better. I don't want to rely on Boris refusing to grant an independence referendum. I think it would be better if we had a minority government. SNP seem most likely to be in that position, can't see Labour making a massive comeback and Conservatives are not likely to win many more seats unless SNP voters who don't believe in socialism actually turn away from SNP and vote for Lib Dem or Conservative.
