Just like the smoking ban in pubs, I can see mask-wearing being a thing now, especially in winter.

No-one complains about the smoking ban anymore, at the time, every pub was meant to be going bust as folk wouldn't go anymore.
Happy enuf for folk to wear masks to protect my health but they don't have to.

    Generous of them though.

You claimed there was a Scottish Income Tax Service i.e. a Scotgovt body for collecting income tax from Scots. That was incorrect.

So what if someone in Scotland earning over £27k pays a little more, the majority are under that and paying less.

And I suggest you do some research into the Scottish Fiscal Commission and devolved taxation, reading your hackneyed version is brutal. I mean, 'stamp duty' was postponed due to the pandemic, of course there's going to be a shortfall, phukk me.

As for what happens on Islay, you could be shagging goats every night for all I care. Your claims that 'white settlers' aren't moving to Islay because they don't want Scotland to leave the UK makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, like most of what you post.

Of course he was, he's English and right-wing, it comes with the terrority. He's clearly a subscriber to the Sovereign Individual nonsense, collapse all government, abandon taxation, let the rich get richer etc.

Those of us who are healthy have a responsibility to look after people like yourself who are at death's door with limited lung capacity and breathing difficulties. I don't mind at all

By the way, Islay, a wee while ago, you were complaining that Scottish seafood producers won't sell their produce in Scotland/Islay because they can get a better price on the continent. So you were complaining about capitalism.

Now, you're complaining that people in Scotland pay a bit more tax on higher earnings and pay more stamp duty on more expensive house purchases, so those earning less pay less. So you're complaining about socialism.

Is there anything you don't complain about

When it was a Crown Colony. His nationality is given as British on his wikipedia, he's English through and through now. Not that that matters, he's right-wing through and through.

I was complaining about the greedy Scottish seafood producers wanting a handout from the U.K. Government because they were having difficulty selling their seafood in the EU.
In April 2020 the same Scottish sea food producers were greetin because thanks to the Coronavirus lockdown their markets in Mainland EU had closed and they were now trying to sell their produce locally in Scotland.
They should have taken this hint and continued to sell their top quality sea food in the UK instead of returning to sell us all the 2nd quality sea food.
It would certainly reduce the number of road miles involved selling their produce.
