Wrexham offered cash bonus pool for promotion...

Wrexham's players will share a £250,000 bonus from new owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney if they win promotion from the National League this season.

The Hollywood actors have also agreed a cash incentive for match results.

If they don't win prom, it will surely be a 'deadpool', then?

Clearly it's not incentivised them so far. 1-0 down to Wealdstone at half time.

They must have doubled the reward at half time.

It worries me that we have fallen so far behind in games now. We have 4 on Wrexham, Torquay and Stockport, but that doesn't necessarily mean 12 or even 9 points guaranteed.. At this rate we'll be playing Sat, Tues,Thurs towards the end of the season. Not good.

This bonus isn't good news for Notts.

    They're away to Sutton next.

If they don't manage to snatch one of the two promotion places this season I expect they'll be the biggest spenders and clear favourites for the title next year.

This would be illegal if it was in the football league, the bonuses have to be agreed before the season starts and can't be changed during it. I remember Accrington Stanley almost getting into trouble for something ridiculous like saying they were offering takeaways for wins at some point and the EFL mentioned they were investigating it but common sense prevailed and they quietly forgot about it as far as I know
