At the moment, on a points per game basis, Carlisle United are 5th and Morecambe 7th. The thought occurred to me that it is possible that if the teams finished in these positions they could meet in the Play-Off Final, an intriguing prospect. If they met in the final it would be the greatest combined distance travelled by two teams to meet in a domestic final. Currently the greatest distance travelled was by Morecambe and Exeter City in the then Conference Play-Off final. It is possible that Morecambe and Exeter could repeat that in this season's final. At 5th and 6th in the points per game table it is Carlisle United and Exeter City, so these two would meet in a Play-Off semi-final, a prospect to shudder at.

Possibly there may be crowds allowed back to some degree when the Play-Offs take place.
