When things like this happen, and you’re struggling to score goals anyway, you start to think it’s not going to be your season. Teams like Fulham will look at this result ,and think they have a chance of staying up.

I know ideally a draw would have been the best outcome but this result I like!

I have had it in for Seagulls ever since one swooped down at Jones Beach, Long Island and swiped Mrs Outwood’s hot dog from out of her hand.

A referee who does not know he has blown his whistle is about as much use as a chocolate teapot.

The real horror Alf is that an EPL team can be relegated on the strength of these bloody awful decisions.

The real horror is that any team who misses two penalties and the chances that Brighton have missed in their last couple of games can be relegated because of their own failings and nothing at all to do with decisions by officials.
Mind you, Brighton will always blame the officials just as they blamed Jay Rodriguez for all sorts of things. They won't blame themselves.

I thought the second penalty was soft, perhaps the ref trying to make amends but as sub says it is down to Brighton not putting away their chances.
