I was thinking the same. There could have been a couple of yellow cards but most of the time you didn't notice him.

That's always a good sign.

I wholeheartedly agree. The best referees should be not seen and not heard in my opinion and I only really remember this one from when he jumped up to avoid a pass. I thought he managed and controlled the game well and so credit where it's due.
