As for being championship quality I get that to a point but goalscorers are goalscorers , we never played Bamford who I really rated and I’ve posted before I’ve argued forever with Leeds fans last year , they said he garbage and only championship quality ( proved em wrong this year I think ).

I’m just of the opinion if we made 10 chances a game and he scored/ missed 2-3 it would be a different conversation- I’m driving at the fact we don’t Create many chances and he doesn’t really get a fair chance to settle- relax

It must be difficult being a forward at Burnley - we demand Aguero quality finishes from what you will still all call a championship striker. OTE=The Bedlington Terrier;39716627]Sadly, I have arrived at the conclusion he would make a very decent Championship player, but these robust EPL defenders are just too tough for him.
It's not the goals for me Army, it's the physicality he can't seem to cope with, defenders are brushing him aside like he's a schoolboy. Not sure just why this should be an issue for him in the PL, there are some big rough lads in the Championship as well, and he seemed fine there.

I would agree, he's not good enough.
What terrifies me is what we would sign in his place. Probably a 36 years old has been donkey cost £2. That's our recruitment teams level and their brief. A proper club would be lining up targets by extensive research and with a mind on who is leaving and what budget this is all likely to produce eg sale of Tarks etc. Who has any confidence that these people are remotely capable of restructuring this clubs squad?? Anyone out there???

I think Vydra is the least of our problems. Plenty to get rid of before vydra imo. Like some one else said it must be hard to get going and build confidence when you don't get that many chances.

The team needs pace down the wings

He is too lightweight and his head goes down whenever he misses a chance.Like I have said before we have 3-4 PL players in the squad. The rest are deadwood.
Our latest addition fits the recruitment teams brief perfectly.

Who's the latest addition? I tried searching but don't see anything.

When I say lightweight I meant he easily gets bullied off the ball by defenders when one on one Balam. Yossi Benayoun was class.
