Like his persona but has Warne run his time with us?

    It had to be said.

NB. CAM, please don't move this thread to the Reading Post Match Thoughts thread.

No I don’t think he has run his time with us.

He does though need better staff to support him.

To give an example, Brian Clough is regarded by most as one of the best English managers ever, but he struggled when Peter Taylor left.

They were sort of good cop, bad cop.

We’ve got nice cop and just as nice cop backed up by a few more nice cops

No. When both engines have fallen off the plane on final approach you dont say 'let's dump the wheels to save weight'.
May however is a different matter...

Was that may a few years past?

As this seems like the same boring script being rewritten.

No I don't think his time is up.

Warne cannot cut it in the Championship with the budget he has got, that is obvious. I think there are managers out there who could get a team like us into the top half.

Warne can cut it in league one though. He doesn't have the fear in that league. He actually believes we can win. TS knows this and while we have been giving him a few seasons in the Championship I think he is satisfied. I also think he will accept a couple of seasons in league 1 without going up.

If we see ourselves towards the bottom of league 1 then he will be gone.

So he has the same quality of squad as we have ( your words )

And yet he's 23 points behind us and you want to keep him on ?

    Bless .

Yes. Back to square one next season. Fans will get fed up knowing he can't move us up to the next level.

Makes no difference if we do or not, we have been a yoyo team for as long as I remember .Ive seen them come and go and the final outcome is always the same. The fans of RUFC have come to accept mediocrity. We have a nice little stadium but thats the only real positive I can see after 60 years of following the Millers. Yes , we are in a decent position financially and if thats the pinnacle of the clubs ambition then so be it . Just saying, heard it all before but Im still here
