Will need a few more weekends like this.

    WBA win
    Brighton loss
    Newcastle Draw
    Palace draw
    Fulham draw
    Burnley loss (big)

Still a huge ask (We all know its probably over) but as weekends go this is as good as it gets!

I am convinced we are down, building momentum and going down with a squad that have learnt how to win will be a great bonus. That said stranger things have happened...

In theory yes but the problem will be, as ever, we will see a lot of movement out at the end of the season. If we go down I think we could lose Johnstone, Gallagher, Okay, Maitland-Niles, Diange, even Pereira and Diangana. All will see themselves as PL quality and will either return to their club or will be looking to get away.

We will also lose many such as HRK, Austin, Grosicki, Peltier, Gibbs, Field, and many more. Perhaps such not a great loss but numerically I can see carnage at the exit door if/when we go down. The players we might like to see move on probably won’t be attractive to many other clubs, especially on the contracts they are on now.

Add to that that we have an owner who is expecting the club to balance the books, it looks tough even if the players have got used to winning. Not a nice prospect is it?
