    Fav league

Used to be the Spanish football but switched allegiance to the German version.

Like the physical element to it and everyone still having a go.

Never been to Germany, have to go if we ever get to travel again.

Been to loads of games in the Bundesliga, can’t beat a beer and fisch brötchen ar the match! Most games are a spectacle with noisy and boisterous fans, well policed and an acceptance of having a beer too many. No surprise stadiums were full!

What's a fisch brotchen?......does it come with tomato sauce?

Actually sounds like a midfield enforcer.

Went to a good few games in Germany including a Dortmund - Schalke derby which was without a doubt the best atmosphere I've ever experienced at any football match.

I was a Bratwurst man, without tomato sauce but with curry ketchup and / or mustard depending on the mood.

Biggest thing that people here would complain about that I experienced in my time spent going to games in Germany in the 80s? Queuing twice - once to buy your ticket at the buckie and then again to get in the gate, there would be riots here.

Ah Currywurst another favourite. Our pals in Hamburg send us the sauce and been known to icebox genuine bratwurst all the way across for us.

Tonight’s St Pauli v Hamburg game at the Millerntor would have been a belter with a crowd. Be interesting to see how it goes without one.

There are usually more flares at that one than a RROS/jdfc disco revival night!
