Welcome to the official thread for the latest match in the Scottish Hoofball League, where Atlantadeen are still contenders for the prestigious Third Place Trophy. This week they take on the mighty Academics of Hamilton in what promises to be an exciting game of end to end soccerball. Atlantadeen big chief Derek McAnus has been talking up his team's chances of overcoming their opponents with his exciting brand of play that's taken them to the giddy heights of fourth place.

McAnus said "We need a solid defensive display against a team like Hamilton who are a well known goal-machine. We need to rely on set pieces to score again this week, but we're trying to avoid bursting the nets because this pandemic has hit us hard and our budget doesn't allow us to buy new ones. A 0-0 draw would be a good result for us from that point of view and i think it's important our supporters understand that. If we can get a point and hope that Hibernian lose, that will take us one point closer to our dream."

It promises to be edge of the seat stuff this Saturday - tune in live, for 90 minutes of blissfully uninterrupted sleep, for just £16.
