The CEO who replaced Dave Baldwin and has proved to be about as much use as a chocolate teapot and Mike Rigg.

I mentioned on a different thread last week Alf, Yankee bankers do not tolerate useless wage stealers, so I would assume Rigg's time is coming to an end.

From what it says in the Mail, this was not a resignation, the Yanks have given him his P45, and shown him the door. Doesn't actually state that, but that's what it implies.

I'm hearing from my man on the inside at Turf Moor that all is not sweetness and light and many of the staff are not happy bunnies. The friendly, family atmosphere in which they work is disappearing under a tide of American corporatism, change is coming.

That's not necessarily a bad thing, in my experience the admin side of BFC hasn't been overly impressive down the years.

The worry for me Chris is whether they will go poking around Gawthorpe and Barnfield to the same extent. It's one thing upsetting the office staff, shop staff and the tea lady, but if they try re-arranging Sean's department, I think they'll find they need a new Head of Department fairly quickly. Hopefully they'll have the good sense to keep away.
