I realise on ability others are better however, if you asked Townsend or Furlong who'd they rather have in front of them, Diangana, Pereira or Phillips I'm sure they'd pick Phillips. Snodgrass is just getting over an injury so Phillips has got the nod. We spend most games without the ball and Phillips has a good dead ball delivery.

Best performance this season by a country mile so far. On Phillips he does tons more than Diang, he tackles/shoots/backtracks/links up and he's no pushover. Diangana has more ability as a front player but that's it. he's lightweight.
