Barnsley v Birmingham City Match Thoughts

We are in massively unprecedented territory as we seek 7 wins on the bounce in the championship .

It gets to three or four and you have to think the next bullet has your name on it and we've negotiated the last two .

Does bullet number 7 have our name on it ?

To tell the truth I don't know because this season is like no other .

The team play like no other I've seen in well over 50 years of support .

The HC is definitely like no other I've seen either .

Play like we've shown of late then we should have enough to win the game .

Pretty much as simple as that .

Absolutely no threat from the dog botherers up top but to be fair they are dominating possession and limiting Cardiff to not a lot .

    Tek a draw missen .

If we can't finish above Cardiff I'll eat any hat presented to me .

Got away with that tonight to say the least .

    “Huddersfield dominate possession........”
That’s four seasons now....... They went up “Dominating Possession “ in every game.... boring domination of possession.... Nicking a win in a few games..... but passing it backwards and forwards across the back, with a long ball up to score a goal here and there......
We’ve done it recently......... but not every game like they did....

Animal...... I’m shocked at you..... Electricity is expensive! Why waste it on them ? LOL

Yet again we face another team with a very respectable away record. Until they played us Stoke had only lost 4 away, so had Millwall and so too have Birmingham. Can we see off Brummies and make it 7 league victories in a row? Absolutely we can.

The juggernaut rolls on. Teams are starting to change their systems and styles to try and combat us. Brentford did it mid game, Blackburn did it, Stoke did it and so did Millwall. They all came away with zero points.

We are showing a great ability to also adapt or change tactics during games. The options off the bench give us good depth. Ismael has used his squad very well bringing in Halme and Sibbick to do a job.

On Ismael, I think that we have a very good coach. He speaks very well and has obviously lifted these players, made them believe. I know it's already been said but watching Hudds V Cardiff last night it's clear to me that we are a much better prospect at the moment.

Even money bet for a Barnsley win today. I'm on it.

Jutkievicz and Hogan have good records against us but havent fired on all cylinders so far this season. Pleased to see Sol in to offset the aerial threat of Jutkievicz, I feel hes stronger than Toby in that department.

    Lets hope for 3 points
