If I recall correctly we were almost at the haggling point, but the lad wanted to go to Southampton and off he popped.

Guys, this is Burnley. Che Adams my backside. We only look at Clogger players for £20 based on our last marqee signing Stephens. That's how much confidence I have in this lot. We will be asset stripped, if we are not careful and have no plan for the future backed with some real money in the summer; that's if we survive. Why would young players stay here at a club with no ambition that only plays one tactic with players who are selected no matter how bad they have been playing quite often? You can't blame them for wanting to go.

funny you should say that BT....same thing being said across the table - but then many have had an open goal and still managed to put it wide....most odd.

The best miss of the season so far was by Wolves the other day against Villa. How did Saiss put the ball over the bar when he was in the middle of the goal and about 6 inches from the line?

If a defender had tried that it would have been an own goal, easier to score. Mings miss was almost as bad.

He is a defender though so perhaps he was practising a clearance!

The goal difference is a bit of a worry. A win on Saturday would do nicely!
