I would rather play them than,Peterhead,Partick or Forfar. They have yet to beat us this season or even score a goal in 3 games. Its time Micky and the players started looking at the pictures in the Tannadice reception and actually gave a phuck about a Cup game for a change.
It would be a benefit to the team if McNulty can be sent hame this week as i do not want him wearing our shirt again this season.

Nothing to lose, at least the games on grass.

I’d rather have Aberdeen, because (1) we seem to up our game against established opponents, (2) it’s on grass, and (3) we seem to have their number in the scottish cup.
Regardless, we need to up our game, and Mickey needs to setup the team accordingly.
Like others, I just don’t see what McNulty adds to the team, and think he just “effectively” makes us a man down from the off...

    On point number 3

Its the team at have played most in domestic football overall and most in both cups, we defo have the upper hand in the league cup but think they've won the last 3 Scottish cup ties, in 2000, 2006 and 2017, albeit we were a worse side than we are now in each of those years, and overall 12 wins to 6 for them in the big cup, have good memories of putting them out in 94 and 98 though

Its not nice i accept that but if United say they need to pay up the rest of McNulty's wage till the end of the season i would be happy to pay into a crowd funder to send him homewards to think again.
I have defended him on here on more than one occasion but frankly i agree with every poster who have said he doesna give a monkeys about United because its true.

***edit forgot we beat them in 2005 in Scottish Cup at Tannadice, grady the wee dee with a peach in a 4-1 win that set up the unforgettable semi final with hibs, so they've won three of the last four ties

So will they be without Hoban after a booking in each round so far? Not sure if that makes them better or worse tbh but if their keeper is missing too it could make them less cohesive at the back. I'm willing to take any slight advantage if there is one at this point

If I had a choice between any of the top teams of the SPL to play in the cup, Aberdeen would be my choice, simples!
I honestly believe, had they beat St J in 2014, we would’ve won the SCP at a canter! (when St J won, I was not happy)
