    OT: Murray Walker RIP

    Passed away this morning, met him once at Goodwood and spoke for what seemed like ages, true gent on will forever be the voice of F1 and all British motorsport, legend

    97 and he deserved every year of it for the pleasure and enlightenment he brought to millions. A man with many famous commentaries to his name, my favourite, and it showed how deeply he felt for those in the sport, was at the end of the 1996 Japanese GP, as Damon Hill crossed the line to become World Champ: "And I've got to stop because I've got a lump in my throat."

    Can't stand F1 anymore but Murray made it so enjoyable way back when!
    Thanks Murray, you will be sadly missed!

    Not just F1, he did all manner of motor sports and did them very well. RIP Murray.
