Nigel Adkins first game in charge as new Manager resulted in a 2-2 draw dampening down the euphoria of Tuesday's win against Bristol Rovers commandeered by Johnnie Jackson.

Jayden Stockley and Diallang Jaiyesemi, scored for the Add1cks early in the first half, good to see Jaiyesmi score his first Charlton goal. However their good work was somewhat undermined by Akin Famewo's back pass to Ben Amos, intercepted by Longman to give Wimbledon the equaliser. Then Wimbledon had their tails up and chances to score more even win the game with Amos making an excellent save. Chuks Aneke had a thumping strike hit the post near the end.

Not a good start for Mr Adkins, not my first choice as Manager but let's hope lessons will be learnt for his next game.

Charlton goals: Stockley 10, Jaiyesemi 21 mins
AFC Wimbledon goals: Longman 15, 65 mins
