I never like the conspiracy theories about people chucking it and bad eggs in the dressing room etc but Alexander's comments (added up, not just on Saturday, though they obviously carry a lot of weight on their own) really make it sound like there's something rotten in the state of Fir Park.
He has an absolute tightrope to walk given this is the squad we have and publicly disowning them all in February would have resulted in relegation. And still might if we go on a Killie-esque collapse.
It's not unfair the jury is still out on GA but his first - only - job is judged pass/fail on whether he can nudge us over the safety line with a few more points. Do that and he gets a pat on the back and a clean slate from summer.
