    Egg chasers have their problems

with TV referee. France Wales game was a classic. Disallowed tries sending off yellow card offence and sending off red card offence. Fran e down to 13 for a short period Wales down to 13 ( from 15 for the football only supporters) France now have to beat Scotland and score 4 tries to win the 6 Nations Championship by one point from Wales. Not quite as tricky as the 10 2 scoreline that nearly did for our hope's of winning the Championship but if we win we come 3rd with Engerlund second bottom in 5th.

It is actually more difficult for France. They are 5 points behind Wales so cannot get ahead of them on points with 4 for a win and a bonus point for 4 tries. Unless they beat Scotland by more than 20 points scoring 4 tries in the process Wales win the championship.

And for Scotland we can win and be either 2nd, 3rd or 4th still!

Were the egg chasing exploits of the Edinburgh lawyers selected to represent Scotland more effective than those of the opposition then?

Were any attempts scored and were these then changed into something else? I believe that's how points are scored during the chasing of the egg game.

Rugby players are professionals nowadays, full time. The original mix of farmers, doctors, lawyers, auctioneers, policemen etc have long gone. Yes tries were scored 3 on each side, but Scotland converted two more than the French did, thereby earning those valuable 4 points that was the final winning margin
