Players you have been wrong about

Over the years we've had a bloody lot, some get judged before they've even kicked a ball. Some are hailed as the next legend just because they've scored a few for the u21s. But who have you written off/ passed off as won't be good enough only for them to deliver in the end? I've definitely had a few.

    Players I got wrong-
Bamford- Jesus, even last year I was saying he was ****. Now look at him, I honestly wouldn't want to replace him. Hard worker and has found his shooting boots. Still misses the odd sitter but putting them away with much more regularity.

Phillips- Honestly never saw it, I remember when the talk was either him or Vieira and I was desperate for Vieira to stay now one is playing for England and worth 50m+ whilst the other is being handed round Serie A like a used condom.

Theres probably been loads over the years, I've always been fairly good at spotting youngsters who are **** but then get in our first team and everyone thinks they're the next big thing Poleon being a prime example, I remember people losing their **** over him like he was amazing.

Hadi Sacko. When he first arrived I thought he was utterly sh1t. After a few games I upgraded my assessment to utterly and completely sh1t. Now, with the benefit of hindsight and a rose tinted long objective lens it is clear that the absolute reality is that he mind numbingly, woefully, galactically sh1t (with bells on). This proves just how wrong you can be.

    With you on Bamford

Player the other way possibly Saiz - loves him but he was a lazy temperamental so and so towards the end and I remember being I. The away end at Fulham in game where he was just arguing with everyone.

Bradley Johnson - showed how good he was when he left.

    Andy Hughes

Lucas Radebe - was the add on when we signed Masinga and didn’t get much game time initially and went on to be a legend.

Jody Morris, thought he would be a terrific signing for us, under the circumstances at the time but it never worked and was glad to see him go.

Hernandez, thought it was the old pals act when Monk signed him from Qatar, thought he had to be past his sell by date too. Didn't recall him being anything special when he had been at Swansea. A player that has really helped transform the team.
