If we are going to be more attacking we need to spend a fair bit of money on a very good centre back. you could see in the first half a couple of times we allowed them to break and it was man for man at the back.

That would suit the youngster full backs but we need a high quality centre back

So disappointing that they couldnt concentrate for 10 more seconds ffs, but not really surprising they threw it away. Mentally weak for years.

    Credit where it's due though.
That was far better performance than we have seen against them in a while .
With a rub of the green we could have scored at least two more .
Add in the fact that Glass inherited a team berift of confidence , motivation and organisation.

This. That would have been a great game wth a Full Crowd in ?

Young lads hld up well. We actually attacked them ffs !!! Glass is STILL unbeaten !.

It can only get better ?

Thinking too that the diddy games in Europe we win for 4th place , can be treated as "good experience" for our young players . Lets aim for 2nd place next season ,and then with a more settled team have a right good go at whatever diddy European set up we are left with, after the " big " teams have carved up UEFA and their moneypot further !!!

Good to see Glass having a go at Collum during and after the match. We as a club for some reason let bad refereeing continue. About time someone really gave them a hard time from us. Good on the new manager!

Yep, good to see it in media .For too long as a club have kept quiet when blatantly obvious decisions go against us especially against the ugly sisters.
He may be trying to get the siege mentality installed in players .
Hopefully he continues in positive mode, keeps standing up for AFC ,while giving youngsters a chance .

Wasn't sure which thread to put this on, but the RedTV interview with Neil Simpson is great. You can see just how excited he is to be involved with the first team and to see some of his youth players stepping up.

On that interview note, yes the simmy one was good he is delighted to be involved. I got the feeling from both the Glass interview and the Hoban one that Hoban is not going to be here next season.

Well, I heard his short interview on BBC in which he declares we have a 'good group of players'.
    I am a bit concerned.
