    A name from our past.

Remember Michael Mancienne? He had three loan spells from Chelsea with Wolves, playing in the centre of defence. He was an England U21 International. A stylish pacey player, who moved to play in Germany for a while before moving back to the UK.

In February this year he signed for Burton Albion in League one. Burton are now managed by Jimmy Floyd Hesselbaink. Michael, who is now 33 years old, along with recent signing from Wolves Terry Taylor are helping the slow climb up the league for Burton.

I always felt that he had more than he showed.

Good luck to him! I remember him quite well, got that touch of class but probably not the aggression and mental hardness you need to thrive at the top level. Glad he is still in the game though.
