For Dyche, we would be a step down at the moment.

For Wilder... I could see it happening, but Bruce hasn’t even been sacked!!!

if it does happen, it will be in pure Ashley style after the defeat to Spurs.

He has had the chance to do it before the 2 week layoff for internationals, could have got a new manager in and had some time with the players.

Unfortunately Tanya, Ashley's too dense, football-wise to see your logic.

Ashley just doesn't ‘get’ football and is not even able to learn anything about it after years of being involved.

Acting too late on changing managers when relegation looms, purchasing Jo ‘if he costs 40 million, he must be good’ Elinton, letting your player of the year and top goalscorer leave when he wanted to stay, refusing to delegate footballing matters and ‘back’ a world class manager, appointing Pardew, Kinnear, Carver, McMuffin and Cabbage because ‘any old manager can do the job if I give them some money’, appointing a complete non entity as chairman (I used to think he was underpaid but if your job involves doing nothing then.....), and the list goes on.

It reads like an instruction manual on ‘How to f*ck up a football club and get relegated.’

I think one of his biggest mistakes was putting Charnley in charge. A man with absolutely no understanding or skills for the job he's employed to do who is doing that job about as spectacularly badly as it's possible to do.

And never mind this shite about how much he's paid compared to other MDs...he's getting paid a 6 figure sum...to do what, eactly? Never mind fiddling while Rome burns, Charnley is wanking while Newcastle United sink. He doesn't get nearly the amount of stick he deserves, imo.

How fatso even made a tenner never mind the billions he has will be a source of eternal mystery.

And, for us, a source of eternal misery.

Which makes me think that he's not a good businessman but just a lucky greedy businessman.

But the appointment of Charnley was on a par with the useless managers he has hired. Cheap and nasty. Just like the chat he sells in his market stall shops.

No chance on Dyche. I could see Wilder but Bruce is sadly still here at the minute.
