You would hope that Queens would be trying to sign up this season's Top Two goalscorers just now for 2021/22....

Would imagine the club probably have but unfortunately it's just not that easy. Players like 1 year deals at this level giving them the chance to move to a bigger club paying more money if the have a successful season...

I understand that players have got to look after themselves these days. You would just like some loyalty back.
I hope Rhys McCabe is retained for next season.

This is the issue in that players and, probably more, so greedy agents will not sign extended deals if there is a chance that it may hinder any future move to a higher level which would involve having to pay Queens a transfer fee.
Bosman will never be overturned as it was brought in the give professional footballers the same fundamental rights as any other worker.

saying that spike as we speak its being spoken about by the 4 FA's of uk ,as the bosman ruling was a eu court ruling played on by bosman using the 1957 treaty of rome of freedom of movement in the eu ,after brexit we are no longer part of the eu so the football assisiations are looking to go over this again .

Nevertheless Spike, - there should be a clause in the ruling to ensure that the 'nurturing' club is rewarded in some small way, - which would help the smaller clubs and protect the future of the game.

We've just experienced an entire year of the pandemic - has anyone seen any kids kicking a ball? Even when the rules forbade outside contact with anyone else, - did we see a kid kick a ball against a wall?

The simple answer is of course not, and I suspect that was the same for the whole of the UK. Football is dying out fast and its time that those in charge thought about protecting its very future, - not maximising the profit of an ever reducing circle of talent.
