It's basically either him saying 'I'm going nowhere without my payoff' or a massive two fingers by the Club to the entire fanbase.
I simply don't believe that 5% of our support want him to stay-I'd wager good money that each vote for Bruce was a smb.

He's decided he staying regardless, so he doesn't care what happens now.
I do think this is more him, than the club.

TBH I’m not surprised. Ashley has firmly installed an ethos in the club that everyone is there for their own benefit and to make money - Ashley, Penfold, Cabbage and the players.
No-one cares anymore about the club itself and that is why it’s dying. The only cure is to cut out the cancer which is Ashley leaving.

He will only leave when the money dries up,we can’t effect the PL and TV money but we can stop filling his coffers with season ticket and match day money, we just have TO DO IT.

Bruce has never truly cared for the club. He wants to take that £4 million from the club. He thinks he has earned it, no doubt.
The £4 million is such a big deal to this man.
