    Clearout has started

To get to the next level Next season, the clearout has started. Engels has gone home and not expected to come back, he will spend the time looking for another club.
Shame, I thought there was a player in there!
    Next:-
    Steer
    Gilbert
    Taylor
    Hourihane
    Davis
    Trez
    Elghazi

I think that it’ll be Heaton heading out, in the summer, Dave. He won’t play second fiddle now that he’s fully fit, and we can get more dosh for him than Steer.

It would be nice if we can shift the rest mate, although Elmo and Taylor are out of contract anyway.

    Roll on the summer.

Villa are set to open contract talks with Heaton (and Konsa) - on Twitter today, I agree he'd want some assurances of first team football which will see him leave the club.

Whatever happens we have to be sure that what we bring in is better than what we already have, I don't see Wes as a play every game striker and Davis will only feature if Deano plays two up top. I think we need a PL seasoned centre forward like Giroud who can take the likes of Ollie & Wes under his wing.

I'm torn on Trez & El Ghazi - both have scored important goals in the last 2 seasons that have won us games/kept us up, maybe keep one of them on the bench. Neither of them are doing enough game to game to be regular starters.
