Your Favourite TV Character Of All Time?

George Cole as Arthur Daley for me.

I watched an old Minder episode a couple of days ago and even though I’ve seen the episodes many times before I still laughed and marvelled at his brilliance.

The guy was a fantastic actor, a master of his craft.

My other one is Richard Wilson as Victor Meldrew.

My late dad was very much a Victor lookalike with the same type of sense of humour and cutting wit.

I’m sure we can think of many but I always enjoyed Robbie Coltrane as cracker. Troubled genius type.

Four way split for me. Albert Steptoe, Rigsby, Alf Garnett or Del Boy. All were great but I can't choose one over the other as these characters had me in stitches.

Rigsby is right up there, yet another acting genius.

I loved Rossiter in Reginald Perrin as well.

Reginald Perrin has to be one of the great TV characters; Fletcher in Porridge up there too, as is Basil Fawlty.
