Your 4 Nailed On Starters for Every Match

Assuming a fully fit squad to choose from, I will kick off proceedings as follows:

    Roberts
    Rodrigues
    Rawlinson
    Reeves

    Special mention for Enzio

    Slocombe
    Rawlinson
    Ellis
    Reeves

We've got great attacking players, but none are consistent enough to be more 'nailed-on' than those four I think

/\ This for me. All successful sides have a solid spine from back to front. If we take the Munto season for example it was Schmeichel, Edwards, Davies, Hughes.

Slocombe, Rawlinson, Roberts and Wootton could hold their own in League Two as well in my opinion. So it's how it's built around these that is key to how successful this side can truly become.

This is what i have said for years in the lower leagues, only difference to you is in my spine i like a tallish defensive midfielder Schmeichel, Edwards, Bishop, Hughes, i always think of Davies as a playmaker.

We nearly have that set up here all ready so for me it's
    Slocombe
    Rawlo
? someone in the mold of Ryan Yates (must be plenty of under 23s to choose from)
    Wootton

    Prawn Cocktail
    Soup of The Day
    Melon Fan
    Pâté and toast

c.1973, and probably at a Berni Inn.

ETA: I may have misunderstood the thread title.

I think in the case the keeper is a given so going for 4 outfield players . . .

    Ellis -
Difficult to choose between him and Rawlo but Ellis is also scoring goals.

    Doyle -
Step back haters, if he's fit he's just the player we need to help our promotion push and with the pace we now have up front his distribution qualities will rise to the top.

    Roberts -
    No explanation needed.

    Wootton -
    Warrior

Special mentions for Rawlo, Enzio, DKE and Knowles
