    Voltigeurs de Châteaubriant

Trawling through tonight's football scores (as you do when there is no ELK quiz to partake in) and for once managing to scroll down on the BBC website and not see Scottish Cup and Women's Super League results prioritised above English Leagues (a PC move if ever there was one) I came across Voltigeurs de Châteaubriant losing in the French Cup.

Looking it up, Voltigeurs are French skirmish soldiers from the time of Napoleon and as foodies will know Châteaubriand is a top notch fillet steak. Surely this team is made in heaven for Crash to support with his military and gastronomic connections?

    What's your favourite/funny foreign team name(s)?

    The Botswana Meat Commission Club

Also known as BMC FC is based in Lobatse. It was founded in 1969 and competes in the Mascom Premier League.

Fans may also refer to the team as The MeatMen.

It's just got that raw toughness sounding name to it.

Yes the 95th Rifles, as depicted in Bernard Cornwell’s Sharpe series of books, and Sean Bean’s “acting” in the Sharpe TV series

Grasshoppers nickname coming from their green uniforms

Deportivo Vanka (change the v for a w) from Peru

Not a game I'd want to be at with wayward finishing. At least you know how who you are if you support them.

Lol. The Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs win this hands down for me. Surely that can't be beaten?
