And every now and then you get thrown a bone....."oooh great we can wave at our family from 100 paces every Tuesday in May"

I've seen that the echr have agreed that pre school vaccinations are to be compulsory in the Czech Republic. Is that what you're referring to? I don't think they have any position on Covid passports that I'm aware of unless you know of summat I don't (always likely I know!)?

I've said earlier, as regular attendee of large scale public events, if be happy for short term passport whilst vaccination is rolled out and we readjust/pursuade people who need to be pursuaded to get the vaccine but would need careful monitoring to make sure government don't use fire other purposes or make it long term without further parliamentary scrutiny. Not sure the echr would agree with me or would ever back compulsory vacc for Covid though any more than flu.

Formerly known as the Socialist Republic of South Yorkshire

    According to wiki:-

“With a HQ in Barnsley it was the top-tier local government authority for the metropolitan county of South Yorkshire from 1 April 1974 to 31 March 1986. A strategic authority, with responsibilities for roads, public transport, planning, emergency services and waste disposal, it was composed of 100 directly elected members drawn from the four metropolitan boroughs of South Yorkshire: Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield”

I don't have a problem with this in the short term. If you don't like it then don't go to the games, that's your choice. But having made your choice, don't then moan about it either.

That's the problem though, it won't be in the short term, we've already seen mission creep, once politicians get more power they almost never give it up, same with SAGE, they don't want to go back to being nobodies again.

They have ruled any democratic country in the EU can enforce vaccines and I would expect passports as well
