January 1976 - United had just been whacked 4-1 at home to Motherwell. Near the end of the game hundreds of United supporters gathered at the Arkley Street end to shout abuse at Wee Jim calling for his head. Imagine IF the minority had had their wish that day??

Give MM his chance - we need stability after RN, Hearts and Covid.
    100% this 👍

    Agree and to quote MM
    'We are Dundee United'

If he truly means that and believes in the club as much as we do then he'll stay and show it

By and large there's the guts of a good squad there. With Ogren's backing let's make it a great one and welcome the good times back

    That's a classic...

To be fair, it is easy to dive in without reading back umpteeen posts. In saying that, when reading back it is great to see plenty level headed positive posts regarding our manager. Looks like the general opinion (thankfully) is to look forward to next season with MM, his own squad, his own ideas and try for top 6. (and a cup semi, and final) Nae pressure Mickey...

Hope he stays and fancy he can do well with us next season.

Also don’t fancy any other options. But that’s not the point we should back and stay loyal to a decent manager

    and this ^^^^ pleases me.

I am enjoying the journey of improvement United are on. The manager, players, non-playing staff, academy and supporters' organisations all moving the club in the right direction. I think it's great and am looking forward to getting back in the ground to support our team.

PS. I do remember Stephen Thompson and Csaba László and the less good days.

I always thought there would be a backlash after Forfar away.I only have two questions really.

We all know that the team struggles when the 3 strikers play so why play them even if it was only Forfar?.

Why are we so FN poor against lower league opposition?.

If there is any chance that McNulty under the terms of his loan agreement must be played then i never want another loan signing wearing our shirt unless its an emergency.

Surely against opposition that quality an actual midfielder like Hoti is going to offer more than Clark in a withdrawn role, there was a point second half Clark picked it up deep in our own half from one of the centre backs like a quarter back.

He picked the right team in the end as we had a comfortable away win in the cup and seemed like he is thinking ahead to having two more games in the next week, away to Killie midweek and away to Sheep/Livi next weekend
