    Coventry City Post Match Thoughts

Well I suppose that's football for you, especially if you are an RUFC fan. Elation one day followed by despair just 48 hours later and in all honesty we didn't deserve anything from that game. I made the mistake of saying it couldn't be as bad as the game at their place but it was. I guess MR has the managerial chops over PW as they seem to have the knack of making us look like amateurs. No shots on target and no real ideas. On to Sunday and time for those prayers.

    Thoughts?

Yep, Cov played us very well.

No complaints about the result. But we are not down yet.

Clearly not good enough. Thrown the opportunity away. Coventry were well up for it.

Congratulations to them. Down we go.

I suppose we can drum up excuses but really we were lucky to only lose by one goal

Coventry were the better team and well deserved their win.

Plan B when A isn’t working change a few players Hoofball.
Plan C. See if it works in League 1.

Totally agree. Wycombe part 2. Hardly any shots on goal. Gutted! Hate us on Sky and next 2 games the same. Let’s hope for a better performance on Sunday.

We looked shattered from minute one and whilst we endeavoured there was just nothing in the tank to hurt them remotely. Onto the next one and we go again. Still plenty to play for and teams to catch (including Coventry)

Fair play to them, deserved the win, their CBs won absolutely everything and if it weren't for Viktor it would have been even more comfortable than the incredibly comfortable 1-0 it already was.

Super super soft goal to concede but they deserved the win. Still plenty to have hope about. Get some rest lads.

Hard to find any redeeming features from that. We were awful and got what we deserved. The lack of fight was really disappointing.
Man of the match Viktor, it would have been.even more embarrassing if it wasn't for him.

One of the worst performances of the season, Ragner was amazing again and kept the score line below 3-0 which would have been a fair result.

Not a single shot on target, Crooks either fouled, gave the ball away, offside or hand balled it ....his worst performance so far.

Fair play to COV thoroughly deserved it, they seem to really up for it and played the better football by far. It’s hard to take but that was a relegation performance when we needed quality
