Is it possible to play on the ‘front foot’ when your team’s strengths lie with the defence and you have as little midfield creativity or striking power as we have?

I note Tony Mowbray has given exactly the same ‘front foot’ message to his players...probably guarantee a 0-0, but we need a minimum of two, and hopefully four, points from our two forthcoming trips to Lancashire imo.

I see they have scored 52 goals which is more than any team below 8th (even more than Swansea in 3rd) and they are the only team with a positive GD below 10th!
It seems their front foot's a bit better than ours! It could be argued, therefore, that sit back and hope for the odd counter is the best way as we are likely to come off second best in a shoot out. However, with that approach we always become negative until it's too late. To me it's **** or bust time, be positive, aggressive and let them know we will fight! Then we might just do the job.
