Chien Lee & Paul Conway's Pacific Media Group multi-club venture, which also owns Ligue 2 side Nancy, hit a major snag today as their Belgian team Oostende was denied a professional licence by the FA - Conway was refusing to provide financial accounts of his Hong Kong companies.
Conway is under no legal obligation to do so but the Belgian FA requested that information - not the 1st time the group has made some finance-related headlines; forced OGC Nice to take a strange €22m loan from a Luxembourg hedge fund when they owned the club back in 2018.

Seven teams have had there licence revoked for next season 3 in the top league and 4 in the league below.Theres a meeting on May 10th where the top division teams Oostende,Mouserat and Standard are expected to be cleared to play. The problem appears to be about the Belgium league getting cancelled due to the pandemic.
What was the reason those three out of the eighte en top division were chosen to have their licence revoked and not the others ? Surely the lockdown affected all clubs.
I've just Googled "KV Ostende licence revoked" as key words and the article says two clubs are involved--KV Ostende and Mouserat, Ostende's licence was revoked for--
"Ambiguity and uncertainty about funds made available to the club" and "miscellaneous unpaid amounts" plus refusal to allow the authority access to all Conway's business accounts
Why is it always Conway ?
